This is a Victorian 18ct yellow gold ring featuring three alternating rubies and two old cut diamonds with old-cut diamonds set in between each stone in a carved yellow gold shank.

The contrast of alternating colors works really well, one gem offsetting another and showing off their beauty ever so harmoniously. The colors and quality of the gems chosen for this ring are fab, the vibrant deep red of the natural rubies sings with the brightness of the white of the diamonds. I would be an ideal engagement ring.
