This Victorian 14k gold snake ring is such a quality piece. The engraving is so detailed, you can see every scale. The eyes are emeralds and the top of the heads are set with bright white old European cut diamonds.

The ring has a reassuring feel of quality and is wonderfully comfortable to wear. It is in near perfect condition.

The symbol of the a snake eating its own tale is a symbol of eternity, infinity and rebirth. It is known as an Ouroboros and is a motif that has been found throughout time and has been found in places such as ancient Egypt, Greece, India and Norse mythology. It seems that a three snake Ouroboros is relatively rare.
